Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance. Handle trash removal and recycling duties efficiently to keep the environment tidy. Perform custodial tasks including dusting, window washing, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management. Support industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleaning. Maintain cleanliness standards in both commercial and residential settings while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and buffing is highly desirable. Experience with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures is essential. Previous porter or facilities support experience will be considered an advantage. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
