Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and equipment. Conduct custodial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, window washing, and trash removal to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain floor care by buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing surfaces to uphold safety standards and appearance. Assist with facilities maintenance duties including minor repairs, reporting larger issues promptly. Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by using specialized cleaning techniques and equipment. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards. Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and maintenance activities for accountability. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners safely and effectively. Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
