Janitorial/Cleaning Worker

Job Description:

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented evening janitor to maintain cleanliness for a professional office/production environment in Pennington, NJ. This is a permanent night shift position, perfect for those looking for steady work. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The following functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Dust ceiling vents, light fixtures, office furniture, blinds & baseboards
• Dust window sills, picture frames, charts, graphs & similar wall hangings
• Clean all toilets, wall tiles, & toilet partitions with germicidal cleaner
• Clean and disinfect kitchen counters, tables and sinks
• Scour and polish sink and bright work
• Empty and re-line trash receptacles
• Place all trash & rubbish in a designated area of the building for removal
• Clean all entry glass doors (inside/outside) & spot clean all inside glass partitions
• Clean and sanitize all water coolers
• Remove all finger marks & smudges from doors, door jams & light switches
• Spot clean any marks on walls and behind trash receptacles
• Dust mop hard-floor areas and vacuum to remove dust and debris
• Damp mop hard-flooring with a neutral disinfectant cleaner
• Vacuum carpeted areas daily
• Clean inside/clean out coffee pots/containers and microwave
• Clean exterior surfaces of refrigerator & microwave
• Restock kitchen paper & soap products
• Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Reliability and punctuality are a must. Ability to work independently during night hours. Housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. Excellent attention to detail.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
