Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a AYCE Japanese Kitchen Cook, where your passion for authentic Japanese cuisine and culinary expertise will shine. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of traditional Japanese dishes with precision and flair. Your skills will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests, emphasizing quality, authenticity, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes, including tempura, ramen, udon and other traditional appetizers. Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills Manage kitchen stations efficiently during service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders Adhere to all food handling procedures and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen workspace at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service experience
Experiences:
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience working in the Japanese restaurant industry Extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods Strong background in food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Skilled in food preparation techniques including slicing, grilling, frying, and plating for visual appeal Experience working in fast-paced restaurant with a focus on quality service Strong knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and traditional recipes Prior restaurant or food industry experience emphasizing high-quality food handling and presentation skills Join us if you're passionate about delivering authentic Japanese flavors with enthusiasm and professionalism. Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
