SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Troubleshoots complex, hardware, software and network issues Performs software deployments, patching and updates Participates in infrastructure upgrades and migrations Supports the implementation, operation, and sustainment of system security protections for training and simulation systems Performs hands on configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and change support for network and boundary components in a controlled environment Performs scheduled maintenance and systems upgrades Supports audits, inspections, and vulnerability remediation activities Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education:

HS diploma or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience

Required Experience:

2+ years of related experience; military and MTC experience preferred

Required Technical Skills:

Provides systems administration support for the design, integration, operation, and sustainment of enterprise systems Performs ongoing system maintenance and supports system upgrades and migrations Experience with account provisioning, permissions management, and troubleshooting within Active Directory environments Familiarity with remote support tools, ticketing systems, and incident management processes Working knowledge of firewall rules, traffic filtering, and access control Working knowledge of configuration and management of core switches, remote nodes, and diverse communications hardware within controlled environments Familiarity with virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere and virtual machine management

Certification:

SEC+ is required; Network+ will be considered

Security Clearance Level:

Secret required

Required Skills and Abilities:

Must meet DoD 8570 IAM I certification (SEC+) Superb communication skills Must be able to perform with minimal guidance

Location:

On Customer Site/moderate travel to other customer sites throughout Pacific AoR

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
