Provide hands-on coaching to develop job readiness skills such as communication, time management, and workplace etiquette. Assist clients in identifying suitable job opportunities and support them through the application and interview process. Offer ongoing mentorship and support post-employment to ensure retention and job satisfaction. Work closely with employers to facilitate accommodations, foster inclusive work environments, and promote successful placements. Conduct training sessions on workplace expectations, social skills, and other relevant topics tailored to individual needs. Maintain detailed records of client progress, employment outcomes, and coaching activities to ensure continuous improvement. Requirements Demonstrated knowledge of employment & labor law and workplace rights for individuals with disabilities. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Background in addiction counseling or social work is highly desirable. Strong teaching and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate diverse populations. Familiarity with workforce development strategies and recruitment processes. Excellent interviewing techniques to evaluate client strengths and areas for growth. Ability to design and deliver effective training & development sessions tailored to individual needs.
