The Job Developer will be responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with community employers in order to identify, develop and establish new job sites for students; match students' array of skills with appropriate jobs and analyze potential work sites.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Human Services related field, i.e., sociology, vocational guidance or Special Education. Hold a registered, valid Illinois Professional Educator License. Experience and knowledge in Transition Planning and Vocational Preparation of students with diverse needs preferred. Three to five years of experience working with persons with intellectual / developmental disabilities.

Working Conditions:

The employee will work in an office environment and travel to multiple school locations and community businesses.
