Construction Site Clean up Job Description This role focuses on performing final cleaning services in a large data center environment to ensure the facility is spotless, safe, and ready for operation. You will support construction completion by cleaning server areas, common spaces, and construction zones, helping transition the site from active build to a fully functional, clean facility. Responsibilities Clean and wipe down server racks and related equipment to maintain a dust-free, orderly environment. Sweep, mop, and dust floors, walls, and other surfaces throughout the facility. Remove construction materials, debris, and dust from work areas and around the building. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols while working in an active construction and data center environment. Use cleaning tools and equipment, such as buffers or other machinery, as needed and as trained. Maintain an organized, tidy work area and promptly report any safety concerns or issues to site leadership. Collaborate with construction and site teams to coordinate cleaning tasks around ongoing work. Adhere to schedule requirements and arrive on time for assigned shifts. Essential Skills Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks such as wiping, sweeping, mopping, and dusting in a large facility. Comfort working in and around active construction sites. Capability to safely handle cleaning tools and equipment after appropriate training. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Reliability and consistency in following schedules and instructions. Basic customer interaction skills to work effectively with on-site teams and stakeholders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred experience in janitorial, sanitation, or similar cleaning roles. Previous work in customer service involving direct customer interaction. Experience using buffers or other powered cleaning equipment. Construction site experience, including familiarity with construction workflows, is a plus. Ability and willingness to work in or around lifts or similar equipment if needed. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, operating on Central Standard Time. You will work in a large data center facility that is transitioning from active construction to final completion, which may include exposure to construction activities and equipment. Personal protective equipment is required and includes jeans, work boots, a Type 2 hard hat provided by the employer, and safety glasses. The environment combines indoor construction areas and clean technical spaces, requiring adherence to safety guidelines and dress code at all times.

Constrc Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Carlisle, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
