Journeyman Electrician

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform electrical installations during new construction or renovation projects
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
• Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete electrical work

Skills:

• Proficient in frame carpentry for installation purposes
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Experience working as a commercial or industrial electrician
• Familiarity with power tools used in electrical work
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
