In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various residential projects, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, local codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, interpret blueprints and schematics, and utilize a wide range of hand and power tools to deliver high-quality electrical solutions. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and systems in commercial and residential settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues Work with low voltage systems Ensure all work adheres to NEC standards, local codes, and safety regulations at all times Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems for safety compliance and operational efficiency Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced electricians when required Experience Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of complex electrical systems Commercial electrician experience with knowledge of construction site procedures and safety protocols Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for electrical installations Familiarity with high voltage (HV) and low voltage wiring systems Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools like drills and saws Experience working on renovation projects within existing structures or new construction sites Knowledge of NEC standards related to residential or commercial wiring practices Ability to operate ohmmeters for testing continuity and diagnosing electrical faults Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or industrial control systems is a plus Strong background in construction site safety practices including framing carpentry or handyman skills is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions across diverse projects.
