Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring on commercial and industrial sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues efficiently. Work safely on construction sites by following all safety protocols and NEC guidelines to prevent hazards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution. Perform renovation work by updating or replacing existing electrical systems in commercial buildings or industrial facilities. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records. Requirements Valid Journeyman Electrician license with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and low/high voltage wiring practices. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and control systems is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices. Construction site experience working on diverse projects such as renovations, new builds, or upgrades. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Strong understanding of low voltage wiring systems and high voltage safety procedures.
