Journeyman Electrician

Overview We are seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing electrical systems across commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a complex construction site, interpret schematics and blueprints, and utilize a wide range of hand and power tools to deliver high-quality electrical solutions. Duties Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues Ensure all work adheres to NEC standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance Collaborate with construction teams Assist in training apprentices or less experienced team members while maintaining a safe work environment Requirements Journeyman Electrician experience (3+ years preferred) Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction environments Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting complex electrical circuits Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), and testing equipment such as ohmmeters Experience working on construction sites involving renovation projects or new installations Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely Physical ability to perform manual labor including climbing ladders, lifting heavy materials, and working in confined spaces Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions that power our clients' success!
