Journeyman Master Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Master Electrician to lead and execute complex electrical projects across diverse settings. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems with precision and safety at the forefront. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards, supporting our commitment to delivering reliable and efficient electrical solutions. Duties Lead electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs on construction sites, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities while adhering to safety protocols and NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical plans. Utilize hand tools, power tools, low voltage testers such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently. Conduct inspections of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage circuits to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Perform renovation work by updating existing electrical infrastructure or installing new systems in various environments. Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and handymen to coordinate electrical work seamlessly within broader project scopes. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and inspection reports. Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and quality expectations while promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members. Experience 5 + years experience required Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments. Extensive knowledge of NEC regulations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to work with high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems safely and effectively. Hands-on experience with schematics wiring, power tools, hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Familiarity with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or new installations within commercial or industrial settings. Strong background in construction or renovation environments with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands. Skilled in framing carpentry or handyman tasks is a plus for versatile project support. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and reading detailed technical drawings confidently.
