Journeyman Roofer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. As a Journeyman Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and roofing-specific equipment with precision and efficiency. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, tiles, and other roofing components safely and effectively. Utilize fabrication skills for custom metal flashing, trim carpentry, or stucco applications as needed on roofing projects. Apply caulking, sealants, and perform restoration work to ensure waterproofing integrity of roofing systems. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and using proper safety equipment at all times. Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair. Strong knowledge of roofing materials including shingles, metal panels, tiles, stucco, and waterproofing systems. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and safety protocols on construction sites. Ability to perform physical tasks requiring heavy lifting and sustained manual effort while maintaining safety standards.

Pay:

$30.00 - $37.00 per hour
