Jr. Accountant

Description Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented entry level Accountant for an onsite opportunity in Rochester, NY. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting detail oriented who is looking to build foundational experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The entry level Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and help maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements Key Responsibilities:

Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets Review invoices, expense reports, and other accounting documents for accuracy Support audits by gathering requested documentation and schedules Monitor transactions and help resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures Provide administrative and operational support to the accounting team as needed

Preferred Skills:
