Jr. High Assistant Football Coach

A Junior High Assistant Football Coach supports the head coach in fostering a positive, safe, and skill-focused environment for student-athletes.

Key duties include assisting with daily practices, coaching specific positions, managing equipment, monitoring player safety and academics, and enforcing school athletic policies to promote teamwork and discipline.

Key Responsibilities InstructionCoaching:

Teach fundamental football skills, techniques, and rules, following the strategies established by the head coach.

PracticeGames:

Assist in planning and executing daily practices and supervising players during games, including away trips.

Player SafetyMentorship:

Ensure player safety, manage equipment, and foster positive sportsmanship and character among 7th-9th grade athletes.

Administration:

Assist with player eligibility checks, inventory, and maintaining a clean locker room environment.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with the head coach and athletic director to promote the school's athletic program. EOE/AA
