As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will support the Wideband Control Integration Test Division at Tobyhanna Army Depot ensuring the reliability and functionality by identifying issues before the software reaches end-users. Effective testing by the Test Team improves end-user satisfaction by ensuring the software meets all war-fighter needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ability to create programs, functions, and capabilities by writing code in a variety of computer languages Be able to self-task and make decisions while working in a fast-paced changing environment Support and enhance automation testing for various satellite systems for PdM Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (WESS) Requirements Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills 1 or more years of experience in coding and software pipelines in a professional or academic environment Must have experience working with React and Python Must be able to work within a small team Must be able to self-task and make decisions Must have the flexibility to work within a changing environment Education High School Diploma Desired Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is a plus Experience working with virtual environments (VMWare, ProxMox, Hyper-V) Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Experience working with sprints or in an agile environment is preferred Cloud Computing experience Other Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one Special Note The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements. Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is up to $75,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
