Tarrytown, NY (Fully In-Office)

Schedule:

Full-Time | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00

PM Compensation:

$45,000 – $50,000 About the Opportunity We are partnering with a highly respected and well-known non-profit organization in Westchester County to hire a Junior Accountant. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a motivated individual seeking hands-on accounting experience and long-term career growth. This role offers strong advancement potential—our last placement in this position was hired four years ago and has since been promoted into a leadership track within the organization. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day accounting operations Support accounts payable and financial processing activities Work within Blackbaud / Financial Edge accounting systems Utilize Ramp (AI-driven AP platform) for invoice and expense management Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close tasks Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial workflows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and willingness to learn Experience with Blackbaud, Financial Edge, or AP systems is a plus (not required) Why Apply?
