Job Description

The Broker in training serves as a representative for the sale or purchase of a yacht or boat. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain effective, friendly working relationships with staff, members, guests and deal with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfullyResponding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in personMarket the vessel for sale, field interest and inquiries from buyers and handle negotiationsAttend inspections, water trials, and deliveryAssist a client in locating and qualifying a vesselAssist with purchase negotiationsAvailable to work overtime to meet deadlinesOther duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.

Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area. Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
