Junior Interior Designer / Architectural Designer H MART•3.1 Lyndhurst, NJ Job Details $55,000•$75,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits AD&D insurance Paid holidays Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Project team coordination 3D CAD modeling Construction schedule coordination Retail building design (architectural design tasks) Architecture Bachelor's degree in interior design English Mid-level Interior Design Bachelor's degree in architecture Korean Proposal writing Bachelor's degree Budgeting 1 year Construction documentation Rendering Working on construction projects Project scheduling Progress tracking (project management tasks) Full Job Description Responsibilities but not limited to: Support design review and proposal development for H Mart commercial and retail projects Prepare and revise interior design packages, construction drawings, and detail drawings Assist with material selection, furniture layouts, lighting selection, and FF&E documentation Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, consultants, and general contractors on assigned tasks Maintain and update the internal library of materials, finishes, and vendor catalogs Generate high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations for internal design presentations Monitor project progress and ensure design specifications are being followed during the construction phase Organize and track project schedules, deliverables, and FF&E budgets to ensure timely completion Participate in project meetings, site visits, and design reviews Qualifications /
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field 1•3 years of related experience in interior design, architecture, retail design, or commercial design Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software with basic drafting skills Basic understanding of interior construction drawings, including finish plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and finish schedules Interior design or architectural portfolio required Ability to travel within the United States as needed Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred
