Position Overview Mintahoe Catering & Events is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Associate to support and grow within our sales team. This is an entry-level, developmental role designed for someone eager to learn the events and catering industry while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in sales. In this role, you will support the full sales lifecycle, from lead response through booking, while learning the standards, pace, and mindset required to succeed as a Sales Consultant at Mintahoe. You will assist with tours, proposals, bookings, and client communication, gradually taking on increased responsibility as your skills and confidence grow. This position offers hands-on training, mentorship, and daily exposure to high-quality events, iconic venues, and real client decision-making- creating a clear pathway into a full sales role over time. What You'll Learn & Support As a Junior Sales Associate, you will work closely with senior sales team members while developing core sales skills, operational knowledge, and professional confidence. Sales Support & Lead Coordination Assist in managing and qualifying incoming sales leads Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail Support timely follow-up to help maintain client momentum Client Experience & Tours Help coordinate and support venue tours, tastings, and consultations Learn how to guide clients through decision-making with clarity and confidence Observe and assist with relationship-driven sales conversations Proposals, Bookings & Documentation Assist in the preparation and processing of proposals, contracts, and bookings Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal tracking systems Learn the importance of speed, accuracy, and organization in protecting revenue Team & Internal Collaboration Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team Collaborate with venue managers, culinary, operations, and marketing teams Ensure smooth handoffs and clear communication throughout the sales process Professional Development Learn Mintahoe's venues, services, pricing structures, and sales standards Develop time management, organization, and follow-through habits Gradually take on more ownership as skills and experience grow What We're Looking For Strong interest in sales, hospitality, events, or customer service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks Positive, team-first mindset with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Previous experience in hospitality, events, or sales support is a plus, but not required The Standards You'll Be Growing Into While this is a junior role, you'll be trained and evaluated with the same foundational standards that define success on the Mintahoe sales team: Responsiveness and professional communication Attention to detail in proposals, emails, and contracts Respect for timelines, accuracy, and client trust Ownership mentality and pride in your work Curiosity, initiative, and desire to improve Growth & Development Path This role is designed to grow with you . Compensation:
$40,000 base salary + commission participation Pay:
