Responsibilities:

• Enter in bookkeeping for a range of clients.
• Prepare weekly and quarterly payroll.
• Prepare sales tax returns.
• Prepare individual income tax returns.

Requirements:

• A true team player who can also work independently when needed.
• A mindset for continuous improvement and a commitment to making processes more efficient.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Customer Service skills.

Preferred but not required:

• degree in Accounting or Finance.
• experience in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial services software, such as Quickbooks & Proseries.
• Solid understanding of account reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and preparation of payroll returns
• Experience with tax return preparation.
