We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to join our onsite team in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Position Summary The Junior Underwriter will support the underwriting team by reviewing applications, analyzing financial information, and assisting in the evaluation of risk for funding decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. Responsibilities Review and process funding applications and supporting documentation Analyze financial statements, bank statements, and credit-related information Assist with evaluating applicant risk profiles and making recommendations Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is complete Communicate with internal teams regarding application status and missing information Follow company underwriting guidelines and compliance standards Perform general administrative and operational support tasks as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Prior underwriting, finance, banking, or administrative experience is a plus but not required
