Duties Assist with loading and unloading junk, debris, and bulky items from residential or commercial sites using manual effort and appropriate equipment. Help prepare trucks for departure by securing loads properly and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to efficiently load items onto trucks, ensuring weight distribution and safety standards are maintained. Participate in site cleanup after loading is complete to ensure the work area is tidy and safe for customers and team members. Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy lifting, manual transmission driving, and truck operation to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks on trucks used during daily operations. Skills Mechanical knowledge to understand basic truck functions and troubleshooting. Experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds or tractor-trailers is highly desirable. Valid driving experience with commercial vehicles; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining proper posture. Strong teamwork skills to coordinate effectively during loading/unloading processes. Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety procedures for transportation of bulky items. Excellent communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
