Length of Work Year 2026-27 WINTER Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary A co-ed JV wrestling head coach leads and develops junior varsity wrestlers of all genders by teaching foundational wrestling techniques, match strategy, and proper conditioning. They plan and run practices, coach during competitions, and emphasize discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork while helping athletes build confidence and prepare for advancement to the varsity level. The coach also serves as a positive role model, supporting student-athletes' growth both on the mat and in the classroom.

Requirements / Qualifications

Prior wrestling coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply.

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & the CA State Component
• Concussion Certificate
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Heat Acclimatization Certificate
• TB test
• Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
• Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
