Immediately Job Description Is your goal to be a Star? Are you passionate about literature, writing, and helping students find their voice? The Starmont Community School District seeks a dynamic K-12 Strat II Special Ed Teacher who can engage learners, foster a love of reading and writing, and help students grow as thinkers and communicators. Approximately 550 students attend the PK-12 district. Starmont is located in scenic northeast Iowa, just over an hour from Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, or Dubuque.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, with a special ed endorsment Teaching certification or license in Special Education Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
