This is a structured, detail-focused workplace where quality, safety, and reliability matter. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Dog Care Assistant who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-run environment and enjoys working with dogs in a calm, intentional setting.

Position Overview:

This role is ideal for someone who values routine, responsibility, and doing things thoroughly . A significant portion of each shift involves cleaning, disinfecting, organizing, and maintaining sanitation standards , along with supporting daily dog care routines. This is not a fast-paced retail kennel or chaotic play environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Thoroughly clean and disinfect kennels, floors, feeding areas, toys, and shared spaces Maintain an organized, tidy, and well-stocked environment at all times Follow established cleaning protocols, schedules, and checklists Feed dogs and ensure fresh water is always available Observe dog behavior and calmly redirect inappropriate interactions Support structured rest and nap periods Bathe dogs and assist with basic grooming tasks Communicate observations clearly and respectfully All dogs are temperament tested and carefully managed.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older Reliable transportation Able to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks Comfortable using cleaning and disinfecting products Willing to learn dog body language, CPR, and first aid (training provided) Background check required Prior professional dog experience is helpful but not required.
