Kennel Attendant & Dog Trainer

Job Overview This position is

WEEKENDS ONLY.

We currently need a dedicated, independent, hardworking individual to care for our Board & Train Dogs on weekends. Your time will be split in half between maintaining the kennel (feeding dogs, providing water, cleaning crates, floors, walls, etc) and training dogs (basic obedience, off-leash obedience, leash-manners, socialization, et). No prior professional experience required. Must have a good attitude, and ability to work alone with little to no supervision. This is not a direct customer facing role, but more support to keep the momentum of training going while the dogs are here. Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennels, and play areas to ensure a hygienic environment for all animals Provide daily care including feeding, watering, administering medications, and monitoring health status of pets in our facility Handle dogs safely using proper restraint techniques during grooming, training, or veterinary procedures Conduct basic dog training sessions to reinforce commands, improve behavior, and promote obedience. Requirements 18 years or older Valid Drivers License Reliable transportation Be on time! Strong work ethic Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for animals Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting during daily tasks This role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to make a positive impact on pets' lives while developing their skills in a supportive environment. Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
