Job Description

Kennel Closer (Evening Shift) R&R Pet Resort - Medford, OR R&R Pet Resort is hiring a reliable and hardworking Kennel Closer to join our team! This is a fast-paced, hands-on position for someone who truly enjoys working with animals and takes pride in doing a job right. This is not a sit-down job — you will be on your feet, moving, cleaning, and caring for dogs and cats throughout your shift. Shift Evening / Closing Shift Must be available weekends and holidays Pay Starting at $15.05/hour (DOE) Holiday Pay + Sick Pay Job Responsibilities Deep cleaning and sanitizing kennels (floors, walls, gates, doggy doors) Ensuring all pets are safe, comfortable, and settled for the night Providing final potty breaks for all dogs before closing Double-checking all doors, locks, and kennel security Yard cleanup and proper waste disposal Laundry (must keep washers running until close) Assisting with feeding and medications when needed Monitoring dogs for behavior or health concerns Working efficiently with team members to complete all closing tasks Requirements Reliable and punctual (this is critical) Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift 25+ lbs Strong attention to detail Able to follow structured task lists and routines Team player with good communication skills Reliable transportation required Must be comfortable around barking dogs and cleaning messes Work Environment This is a busy kennel environment.
