Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Kennel Worker to join our animal care team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and cleanliness of our animals while maintaining a safe, clean kennel environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, comfortable environment for our dogs. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work closely with animals, develop valuable skills in animal handling, and contribute to a positive community environment. Responsibilities Cleaning the kennel, and feeding, watering dogs daily Provide attentive dog handling and care, including feeding, walking, and monitoring behavior to ensure health and happiness Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to maintain cleanliness and comfort Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular cleaning and disinfecting procedures Observe animals for signs of illness or distress, promptly reporting concerns to veterinary technicians or supervisors Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, bedding, or animals as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Experience Prior kennel or animal care experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for working with animals is essential Experience working with veterinary teams as a veterinary technician assistant or veterinary assistant enhances your suitability for this role Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is necessary to support daily operational needs Previous experience in animal handling, or veterinary experience will help you excel in this position Join us !
