POSITION OVERVIEW
The Key Holder supports the Store and Assistant Store Managers to ensure the smooth efficient running of the Store. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, the Key Holder acts in the capacity of the Manager on Duty.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding service to our consumers in line with Uptown's mission.
  • Assist in training and coaching new employees in customer service and store operations.
  • Supervise store team members in the absence of the Store or Assistant Store Managers.
  • Possesses keys to the store, performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of management (e.g., opening/closing registers, opening checklists, bank deposits, filling in, recovery, cleaning, retrieves mail, accepts/receives deliveries).
  • Engage is daily store operations, which include but are not limited to: cashier, pricing and listing new inventory, mark downs, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Reports to work as scheduled; records time worked accurately by using Uptown's Time and Attendance system; remains flexible to the needs of the business.
  • Adhere to Uptown's Asset Protection policies and procedures, including shortage prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Previous retail experience
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to challenge, empower, and drive team results
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to connect with store team members and management
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
  • Desire to succeed in a high-growth, fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
  • Ability to place and arrange items on all shelves and racks daily.
  • Ability to be on your feet for at least 8 hours per shift and continuously move around all areas of the store daily.
  • Ability to read instructions, reports, and information on computer/register screens and to key information into the computer daily.
Ensure that shipping and handling of purchased and donated products follow established protocols.
Pay:
$18.20
