The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, particularly in theater settings, and be able to perform a variety of musical styles. This role requires creativity, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to enhance our performances and contribute to the overall artistic vision. Duties Perform live music during rehearsals and performances, ensuring high-quality sound and musicality. Collaborate with other musicians, directors, and production staff to create cohesive musical arrangements. Interpret and play music scores accurately while adapting to the needs of the production. Attend rehearsals regularly, providing input on musical elements and contributing to the creative process. Maintain and care for keyboard instruments, ensuring they are in optimal working condition for performances. Participate in creative discussions regarding setlists, arrangements, and overall performance dynamics. Skills Proficiency in playing keyboard instruments with a strong understanding of music theory. Experience in theater or live performance settings is highly desirable. Ability to read sheet music and improvise as needed during performances. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Flexibility to adapt to various musical styles and genres as required by the production.
