Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack•15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025
Schedule:
Full Time 6pm-3am shifts include weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Following instructions of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs Preparing orders quickly and efficiently to menu spec Rotates inventory and ensures freshness of product at all times Refill items that require prepping and make sure stations are stocked Ability to prepare all recipes pertaining to current food menu. Possess thorough knowledge of the current menu items for all stations Use creativity with specials. Knowledgeable on all equipment and how to clean them RTI filtering fryers on a consistent basis Ensure setup for the following shift is complete Skills/Requirements Must have excellent communication and organizational, time management, and leadership skills Extensive familiarity with the following equipment (training provided) Fryer, char broiler, flat-top, hot-well, wok station, steamers, convection oven, walk in cooler and freezer, assortment of knives, mandolin, etc. Ability to work as part of a team Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years old Working in a high volume kitchen for at least 2 years This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of company policy and procedures, state regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities Must possess the ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license Physical, intellectual and environmental conditions: Ability to work flexible shifts, days of the week including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending and lifting, pushing and pulling. This is a very active position Ability to lift up to 35 to 50lbs regularly Must be able to work flexible shifts in a crowded, noisy, hot and humid environment Additional Notes Training provided Must be present onsite for this position We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions.
