The role of Kitchen Equipment Manager is multifaceted, requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. By effectively managing maintenance operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards, the Kitchen Equipment Manager plays a vital role in enhancing the overall efficiency and productivity of appliance services. The Kitchen Equipment Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial appliances. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of service. The Kitchen Equipment Manager will also be tasked with tracking maintenance schedules, budgeting for repairs, and implementing training programs for staff.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Supervise and manage a team of appliance maintenance technicians. Track and implement maintenance schedules for various appliances. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of appliance performance. Manage budgets related to appliance maintenance and repairs. Provide training and support to technicians on best practices and new technologies. Oversee inventory management of tools and replacement parts. Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding appliance maintenance services. Prepare and maintain reports on service activities and performance metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have 6- 10 years of experience being a Kitchen Equipment Manager Valid State Driver's License Meet requirements for: pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy)

CBAs for union projects typically include a retirement plan (such as a pension, annuity, or 401(k)), health insurance (e.g., medical, dental, vision), and other benefits. APTIM pays the costs for some fringe benefit plans for employees working on union projects. Under some CBAs, however, you may be required to contribute a percentage of your wages toward the cost of these benefits. Additionally, you may also qualify for paid sick leave, paid holidays, paid vacation, and supplemental insurance plans (e.g., life, short-term disability, long-term disability). The CBA contains the terms and conditions of eligibility as well as information about any costs to you. APTIM's Human Resources department is prepared to answer any questions you might have about wage rates, fringe benefits, and their cost. As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $90,000 to $95,000 per year.
