Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences across our fast-paced, quick service, and casual dining environments. This pivotal role combines culinary expertise with strong management skills to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards, and foster a vibrant team culture. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for maintaining high-quality food preparation, managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring seamless service that delights our guests. Duties Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and culinary techniques to uphold hygiene standards. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while maintaining labor costs. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards to provide a safe environment for staff and guests. Lead staff training & development initiatives to enhance team skills, promote hospitality excellence, and foster a positive work environment. First review 6 months into employment. Multilingual is a plus. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or casual dining restaurants. Strong background in restaurant management with supervisory experience in the food industry. Knowledge of inventory control (Restaurant 365), food safety regulations, and food handling procedures. Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team management. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 50 hour work week mandatory, holidays and weekends are expected. MDH Certified Food Protection Manager-required with in 60 days of hire. Prior experience hospitality management background highly valued.
