The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and inventory control, along with exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a passion for customer service and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Manager will ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Implement and enforce food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns or feedback promptly. Train, interview, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster a productive team environment. Manage cash handling procedures for bar and kitchen transactions. Utilize Aloha POS for order management and reporting purposes. Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service. Qualifications Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within the hotel or restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Proficiency in inventory control practices and food handling regulations. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
