Kitchen Manager

The Pitch Sports Bar & Grill — Dunbar, WV At The Pitch, we're more than just a restaurant — we're a gathering place for our community. From game days and family dinners to late-night bites and local events, we take pride in creating an atmosphere where great food, genuine hospitality, and good people come together. We're looking for a Chef / Kitchen Manager who wants to be part of building something special. This role is for someone who leads from the front — someone who can jump on the line during a rush, coach and motivate a team, hold high standards, and still keep the kitchen fun, creative, and positive. We need a leader who cares about consistency, cleanliness, culture, and creating food people come back for. You'll have the opportunity to help shape menus, create specials, improve systems, and make a real impact on the direction of the kitchen and overall guest experience at The Pitch. What You'll Be Doing Leading day-to-day kitchen operations Managing and mentoring the BOH team Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation Assisting with menu development and weekly specials Controlling food cost, inventory, prep, and ordering Ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards are always met Working alongside ownership and management to continue growing the brand Helping create a kitchen culture built on accountability, teamwork, and pride What We're Looking For Strong kitchen leadership experience Someone who thrives in a fast-paced sports bar / casual dining environment A hands-on leader who isn't afraid to work the line Positive attitude and strong communication skills Passion for hospitality and team development Ability to stay organized and composed under pressure Creativity, consistency, and attention to detail Why The Pitch? Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
