Job Description

Job Overview The purpose of this position is to prepare and provide food service to guests in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet guests' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Duties Plans, organizes, and directs purchasing, food production, preparation, and food service to the facility. Prepares nutritional food and suggests menu items. Supervises departmental personnel and all functions including menus, dining nutrition to patients, and catering for events and other functions. Functions as a member of the health care team and insures that nutritional needs of guests are met. Maintains high standards of quality food production and portion control, using standard recipes. Ensures sanitation, safety and storage of food. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Proven ability to supervise teams effectively with strong leadership qualities in hospitality management settings. Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to optimize restaurant profitability. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
