location! The Assistant Gelato Pro is a key component in the production of our Gelato, made fresh daily! We are seeking dedicated hard workers with a passion for the food industry, who thrive in a fast paced environment. We are expanding rapidly, and there is great growth potential! The ideal candidate has 1 year+ experience in Kitchen Prep or as a Pastry Assistant. Team Members earn a base hourly wage plus participation in a shared tip pool. $23

• 26/hr including tip share.

(base pay $18/hr plus projected tip share).

Responsibilities:

Execute gelato recipes precisely and accurately, creating the correct texture Ensure that all products are within their expiration dates Ensure labels filled out with the correct dates and the names of those responsible for filling them out Look after the equipment and maintain cleanliness of the work space Ensure all food safety procedures are being maintained at all times Accept and audit all deliveries with the guidance of the General Manager Order ingredients and raw materials; working closely with vendors Notify the General Manager of maintenance problems with the machines, in order to make arrangements for the necessary adjustments Assist in the operational and administrative tasks (system, stock and product validity control, cleaning) Assist with the Customer Service, should the need arise, and be capable of doing so

Qualifications/Skills:

1+ years experience of Quick Service Kitchen Prep or Bakery Assistance preferred Heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs) Able to multi-task at a high level Able to work quickly and maintain deadlines Able to memorize processes and learn quickly Reliable, punctual, and a self-starter Morning Availability Necessary
