Job Summary As a kitchen staff member you will play a key role in preparing food, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assist with various kitchen operations. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation by assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety and sanitation standards Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs and kitchen managers to ensure timely service Handle food handling tasks responsibly, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients Operate POS system while taking call in orders Contribute to a positive guest experience through friendly communication and attentive service during meal times Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly desirable but not required Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is essential Experience with cooking, food preparation, or kitchen operations is preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are required Ability to multi-task is essential A passion for delivering excellent guest services and supporting a positive work culture
