Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures to comply with health regulations. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow during shifts and special events such as banquets or catering functions. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to prevent waste while maintaining freshness and availability of ingredients. Implement efficient shift management practices to optimize productivity and guest satisfaction during busy hours. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally. Requirements Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong background in kitchen management, including supervising teams and managing shifts effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with culinary techniques across diverse cuisines and experience with banquet or catering services is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and ensuring compliance with health standards.
