Mon, Wed,Thurs, Fri,Sun 2pm-10pm About the Role CMSP Associates is hiring a dependable Senior Utility Worker to support kitchen and dining operations at a premier condominium community in Laguna Woods. Located within Laguna Woods Village, the condominium offers a resort-style environment for active adults, featuring chef-prepared dining, community events, and a welcoming atmosphere. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and efficient kitchen operations while supporting a high-quality dining experience. Key Responsibilities Wash dishes, pots, utensils, and kitchen equipment (manual and machine) Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including floors, walls, tables, and storage spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize all assigned work areas Remove trash and transport waste to designated disposal areas Transfer supplies and equipment between kitchen, storage, and service areas Clean and sanitize equipment using approved chemicals and procedures Polish silverware and assist with kitchen organization Support food safety standards in compliance with HACCP guidelines Provide guidance and support to team members as a senior utility worker Attend required safety, food handling, and sanitation trainings Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Experience:

1+ year of kitchen, janitorial, or utility experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Skills:

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Professional communication and teamwork skills Basic computer knowledge (a plus) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally Ability to work in a kitchen environment with varying temperatures and noise levels Work Environment Primarily indoor kitchen setting Exposure to heat, cleaning chemicals, and moderate to loud noise Fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting dining services Additional Information This position is at-will employment in accordance with California law Equal Opportunity Employer The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including those related to non-discrimination and harassment
