Lab Assistant - School of Physical Therapy Bowling Green State University, United States about 5 hours ago
Location:
Campus, ILLINOIS Summary To support the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy Operations Coordinators with maintaining appropriate levels of equipment and supplies, set up, tear down, and proper functioning of immersion lab classes. Also, to help with secretarial duties within the home office of the department in between immersion lab events.
Career Readiness Competencies:
Communication Critical Thinking Technology Essential Functions Inventory and receiving all equipment and supplies for lab immersions in the BGSU warehouse. Prepare carts with correct equipment and supplies for the move to Olscamp 101 close to time for the next lab immersion. Help with the preparation of Olscamp 101 for each lab immersion. Tear down and pack up all items for moving back to warehouse after each lab immersion. Help with coordination of observing open lab during evening hours for DPT and OTD students. Unpack and organize all equipment and supplies, once returned to the warehouse, for the next lab immersion. Complete Secretarial duties within the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy main office as assigned in between lab immersion events. All lab immersions occur twice a semester and they will run for two-weeks each lab. This includes summers too. Minimum Qualifications High level Organizational skills Good communication skills Able to work 20-28 hours a week during each two-week lab immersion. Able to work 10-20 hours a week in between lab immersions. Able to lift multiple heavy pieces of equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs, with reasonable accommodations, when preparing carts to be moved. Application Requirements :
Applicants must submit resume, class schedule (summer and or fall) and their summer 2026 hours of availability. Must have summer and evening availability. Must be able to begin in June.

This position requires regular travel between campus and an off-campus warehouse (441 Woodland Circle) during scheduled shifts.
