  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Scientist to join our analytical laboratory team.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional who excels in a collaborative environment and has strong expertise in trace metal analysis and EPA method compliance. The successful candidate will be capable of performing wet chemistry techniques, following established procedures independently, and ensuring that all analytical results meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Duties Develop, validate, and optimize ICP-OES methods for the analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Perform trace metal analysis in complex matrices with high accuracy and precision. Operate and maintain ICP-OES instrumentation, ensuring reliability and compliance with laboratory QA/QC protocols. Execute and report results in alignment with relevant EPA methods (e.g., 200 series methods for metals). Prepare calibration standards, QC samples, and maintain detailed laboratory records. Troubleshoot instrumentation and perform routine maintenance. Interpret and report analytical data clearly and effectively to technical staff and management. Support regulatory and customer audits by ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and quality systems. Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve laboratory practices, workflows, and reporting. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Demonstrated experience operating and developing methods on ICP-OES. Hands-on experience with EPA trace metal methods and environmental/industrial analytical standards. Strong understanding of laboratory QA/QC requirements and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and report preparation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

$65,000.00
