A Labor and Delivery Nurse plays a crucial role in providing care and support to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth. They are responsible for monitoring the mother and baby during labor, assisting with the birthing process, and providing education and emotional support to new parents.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Monitor contractions and fetal heart rates during labor Assist with pain management techniques, such as administering medications or providing comfort measures Aid in the delivery of the baby, including handling emergency situations Educate mothers on breastfeeding techniques and newborn care Provide emotional support to mothers and families throughout the birthing process Communicate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for mother and baby

Qualifications and Skills:
