Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery/Postpartum unit. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the recovery period.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess mothers during labor and delivery Assist in the delivery process, including C-sections and emergencies Provide postnatal care and education to mothers and families Administer medications and monitor vital signs Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation Offer emotional support and education regarding newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery

Requirements:

Valid RN license (State-specific) BLS and NRP certifications (ACLS preferred) Minimum 1-2 years of experience in L&D or postpartum nursing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm in high-pressure/emergency situations
