Qualifications:

Education:

minimum HSD Someone with lab experience would be preferred. Familiar with lab safety protocol. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures. Capable of moving and handling large containers of oil and related fluids (preferred). Ability to interact frequently with a variety of functions, such as scientists, building maintenance, shipping/receiving personnel, safety personnel. Good organizational and time-management skills. Must be comfortable using Excel, Outlook, Word, basic MicroSoft suite programs.

Responsibilities:

Hours:

Daytime; Part-time (4-6 hours) Wash laboratory glassware and distribute to various lab personnel. Maintain chemical inventory. Maintain supply of solvents and materials needed by scientists. Maintain inventory of basic laboratory supplies, such as paper towels, gloves, pipettes, soap, etc... Manage the waste disposal of chemicals used within the group. Management of fleet test samples and test results. Assist with shipping and receiving of test samples. Administration of quality documentation. Work with all lab personnel to maintain an organized and safe lab environment. Follow all safety regulations and participate in safety inspections and monthly safety meetings.
