Evening Shift•2:00 PM to 10:30 PM 5x8 Hour Shifts Schedule may vary based on department needs Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant for a travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy and specimen processing experience with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. This role supports inpatient and outpatient laboratory operations through specimen collection, processing, and laboratory data management. Key Responsibilities Perform specimen collection procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations Process, prepare, and distribute laboratory specimens accurately Handle laboratory data collection systems and ensure proper test ordering and cancellations Support accurate charging and documentation for laboratory services Maintain specimen integrity and follow laboratory safety procedures Assist with non-technical laboratory processing tasks Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare teams to maintain workflow efficiency Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Laboratory Assistant experience required Current Phlebotomy Certification required Strong specimen collection and processing skills required Ability to work effectively in high-volume clinical environments Excellent communication and organizational skills required Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures required For more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
