Part time, 42.5 hours bi-weekly
Shift:
1st Shift, 7:30 AM•4:30 PM (5 days per pay with opportunity to pick up additional hours)•
Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a reliable and professional Laboratory Courier to support our Laboratory team. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate transportation of laboratory specimens, supplies, and reports between healthcare facilities and partner locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up laboratory specimens, requests, reports, and supplies from area hospitals, physician offices, and veterinary offices. Deliver specimens, requests, reports, and supplies to designated locations in a timely and accurate manner. Serve as a key customer relations contact, providing excellent communication and service to all clients. Communicate with the Laboratory regarding specimen procurement updates as needed. Transport specimens to and from the Red Cross locations in Toledo and Fort Wayne as required. Keep the Laboratory Manager informed of any issues, delays, or service improvement opportunities. Maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record at all times. Maintain a professional appearance and prioritize the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.•Requirements Ability to work independently and manage multiple delivery routes efficiently Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented Valid driver's license required
