Job Description

To Apply for this Job Click Here Position Overview This position supports a research laboratory focused on the handling, processing, and management of human biological samples. The role is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, with responsibilities centered on specimen integrity, documentation accuracy, and adherence to established procedures. The laboratory environment is protocol‑driven and collaborative, supporting a variety of research studies and operational needs. Key Responsibilities Receive, process, and ship human biological specimens including blood, urine, and other sample types in accordance with study protocols and standard operating procedures Provide basic support for sample processing workflows such as peripheral blood mononuclear cell isolation and DNA extraction as assigned Prepare visit‑specific sample collection kits, including labeling, draw tube setup, and organization of aliquot materials Perform routine laboratory facility checks, equipment monitoring, and basic maintenance activities following established procedures Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including electronic sample tracking records, deviation reporting, and equipment maintenance logs Respond to equipment alarms and study team requests during scheduled work hours and assigned on‑call coverage Assist with additional laboratory tasks as needed to support daily operations and study requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline), work experience in a laboratory environment will also be consdired in lieu of degree. Previous laboratory experience preferred (academic or professional) Familiarity with standard lab equipment and procedures Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Effective communication and teamwork skills 1450759_1778605765 To Apply for this Job Click Here
